About the Artist
Born and raised in the rural Northeast Texas town of Poetry, Ryder Grimes grew up doing things the country way. Country music was always close, whether his mother was playing it in the kitchen or his father was playing it onstage. Ryder began performing at 11 years old, then learned to sing, play, and write songs of his own.
That early foundation grew into a modern Texas country sound rooted in honest storytelling and a deep respect for tradition. Ryder spent extensive time in the studio with Texas country artist Deryl Dodd and producer Bart Rose at Fort Worth Sound, building the confidence and catalog behind his live show.
His releases include the 2023 album Ready or Not, followed by singles including “Echos of the Dial,” “Wrong Went Wrong,” “Lottery of Love,” “Faith, Family and the Oilfield,” and “DTF.” Backed by his band, Ryder brings the same grounded personality and high-energy delivery to every stage.
